A Not-So-Plain Background

A digital fashion render staged with many objects

I tried making a cool realistic fashion render once. Didn’t end up well.

So I thought, why should I? Came back to the mannequin with a plain background and one point lighting technique.

But it didn’t stay that way for long…

Early unfinished render

Pink glossy, plain glossy background– horrible. Something is definitely wrong with that render. I was loving the pink, a shame it had to go.

I decided I’d make everything white and start over again.

And that’s where my mind strike with the cool colour pallette we now have– and a leaf idea.

It looks like wheat if you think about it, and honestly, that’s kinda where the imagination flow…

And so, the era of a staged background started. Maybe I should start looking for freebies in Adobe’s website!
