That picture had its time. I was proud. First time scanning fabric, I mean– beautiful! And the ring of light made me feel pro.
Obviously, not for long.
First of all, we need to rewind to the first render of this project:
I was going with one of those funky instagram people style render, but it didn’t end up well.
This was the first time I felt like my scene was actually well lit-up. The results? It’s lacking depth and shadow.
Well then I thought, let’s do dramatic lighting instead!
Yeah… Not so good. But what it did was made me rethink lighting and got way better renders!
