Bubbles Staged Render

More staged background renders? I’m in!

So, after that little bit of creative block, AURORA’s Black Water Lilies song inspires me–

I am so happy with this render.

The first obstacle of this was to make a water lily… I don’t see anyway I can achieve that in MD, so I thought I’d model it. Now, I suck at modelling, so…

In the end, I decided I should probably just find some free lotus models online.

Surprise, surprise, I found nothing decent. None are free anyway. I ended up making my own lotus, and I personally think it looks pretty good!

Then I try to decide what material I want the model to be. I usually use black to draw all the attention to the garment, but this time, the garment is black. And with my bad modelling, maybe we should distract their eyes a bit.

So… Yeah, that happened. I regret nothing.

Afterthat, I decided that my background is a little bit too bland… So i added–wait for it–

Materials still in theme with the design, my background was finally looking fine. But then I realized I need something to break up all the black and white– so I added that brass/copper/rose gold/whatever you’d call it material. Beautiful!
