The Day Before the Test

After finishing the entire Magnus Chase series (yes, we’re here again), I got the urge to make a green and pink design.

If you have read all my other posts before this, you probably already know that my pink renders never work out.

However, this one was different.

Look at this beauty!

It’s a thing of beauty. I am so proud. I learned so many things from this project, like hair particles, hair materials, lighting, and draping.

Also, I learned that making the eyes not visible make your renders 10x better.

Seriously though, it looks like some epic commercial shot.

I also practice compositions and angles… It definitely could be better, but for now it’s enough.

Close up

In close up, the hair particles look a bit awful. I’m not sure if it’s the settings I did, or the fact that I only used 50 render samples and believe in the denoisers.

Last angle.

I definitely learned a lot from this, and a new era of this would be coming. I enjoy this style a lot.
